UFC194 is the most anticipated card of the year, if not ever. Mostly because Conor Mcgregor knows how to sell a fight and to piss off a legend that is Jose Aldo. While everyone is looking at this great bout, we keep forgetting the co-main event, which is Chris Weidmen against Luke Rockhold. This is not just a great fight, this is the fight that will show who the real middle weight champion is. This is one of the few fights that no one has an answer to. If you think you know who will win, think again!

A lot of fans are saying Luke finished Machida in a little over a round while it took Chris five full rounds to get the W, which means Luke is better. If you think this is true, then you would have to agree that Vitor Belfort knocked out Luke Rockhold while Chris Weidman made quick work of him. Does that mean Weidman is better?

It is all about the match up, and we know that there isn’t a better match up than Chris Weidman vs. Luke Rockhold. With one of the best wrestlers in the sport, Weidman, against one of the most creative fighters in the very same sport. Who can implement their game plan though?
Can Weidman get a hold or Luke? And if he can, can he hold him down? And can Luke throw the same creative combos he usually does at someone that comes straight forward?
Luke Rockhold has the famous hook that he throws when opponents come straight at him, but with Weidman, it is a consistent pressure, but it is by no means carless. We saw that in the Anderson Silva fight; he came forward the whole time, but he didn’t eat too many counters from Silva, which is among the best in the world.
As Luke circles away and tries to get away from Weidman’s pressure and take-downs, can he eat punches? We know they’re both durable fighters that can take punishment, but if it comes down to it, we’ve never seen Weidman really hurt, but we’ve seen Rockhold hurt on a few occasions.

This bout is very technical, yet not that technical. A lot of times when you have two great grapplers, with great wrestling, and amazing technical striking, you end up with an absolute brawl. In this technical bout, the belt holder will be the one who can take the most beating without making any mistakes on the ground. So, who’s chin is going to hold up better? and who's winning streak will be over?
